   There is a lot shooting, and most of it hires Canadian for the tax credit. That is the whole issue and it is a big one.

   The credits depend on Canadian content and Canadian labor. Being American is a genuine disadvantage for a large slice of the work.

   Vancouver is service production for US shows, Toronto has more of its own. Different feel entirely.

   If you have any route to Canadian status, it changes everything. If you do not, think hard.
