It is. The visa is the whole problem, and you need a body of press and credits before the route is even open to you.

Build the case at home first. The application wants evidence that you are already established, so the years spent in the UK are not wasted, they are the application.

Get a proper immigration lawyer who does this specific category. Not a general one.

Plenty of UK actors work in the US without living there now. Tape from London, fly in for the job. Worth considering before uprooting.
