Introduce yourself once, briefly, to the people you will be working directly with. Then get out of the way.

Say good morning to everybody and learn a few names. That is the entire etiquette and it puts you ahead of most people.

Read the room for timing. Nobody wants to meet you while they are setting a light. Do it at a reset.

Crew here. We notice both. The aloof ones and the ones who need us to know how they prepared. Neither is what you want to be.
