Stay in it and keep the story moving. The audience does not have the script. They only notice when you break character to panic.

Your scene partner will catch you. That is what they are there for and they are also praying you would do it for them.

Learn the shape of the scene, not just the words, so you can paraphrase your way to the next cue. That is the actual insurance.
