It almost never comes out of nowhere from their side, but it very often does from ours, because nobody tells you the roster review is happening.

Two years without bookings is usually the whole reason. It is not personal and it is also not fair, and both of those are true.

Give yourself a week and then start the search again with better materials than last time. The gap after being dropped is the dangerous part.

I was dropped in 2018 and signed somewhere better four months later. It genuinely was not the end of anything.

Ask for a call. Some will give you the real reason and it can be useful. Some will not, and then you have lost nothing.
