A few days is a healthy amount of time. The people who take it instantly on the chin usually have not absorbed it.

Sort the notes into things two or more people said and things one person said. Act on the first pile.

You did the hard part. Most people never ask, which is why most people are working from a picture of themselves that is four years out of date.
