Why is it a rare occurrence that Disney stars make it in acting outside of the disney channel? I’m guessing there’s a Disney stigma attached because the acting style is so different from modern acting styles?

I have an agency interview in a few I’m in the 18+ to play younger category. But I don’t want to audition for Disney channel and get that stigma attached.
