Sometimes, all you have to do is ask...

I've come on here and asked VA questions before, but I'd like to tell a story, and maybe give some encouragement. I do voice acting, but mainly I'm an audiodrama producer who produces original works. This past March my wife had a stroke and was in the...

What are your worries about the future of the acting industry?

I (M24) have my first professional acting class on Monday. I thought I could live a stable desk job post-grad and just be a cinephile but I feel like I’ve seen every movie possible in the last two years and seeing other actors my age makes me extremely...

Anyone ever walk out of a big in-person callback thinking they blew it… and still book?

Curious to hear stories from actors who walked out of an audition or callback convinced they didn’t do their best, but ended up booking anyway. Maybe you were nervous, overthought your choices, felt like you didn’t fully execute a redirect, had weird...

If I submit to a role on Actors Access with a demo reel and then hide that specific demo reel from my profile, will casting still be able to access it?

I want casting for that specific role to see the video but I don’t want it available on my profile so I removed it right after submitting, if that makes sense.

A moral dilemma for a SAG commercial for an AI company. What would you do?
