If you had the opportunity to create your own show to star in, what would it be about?

There are a few constraints though - low budget, streaming services not network tv or theatre. If you don't write it - who would you hire to write with? Which actors would you hire and why? What would your character be like?

How does one find out about cattle calls in a large market like NYC?

other than submission sites like backstage or actors access, is there something else that I should know about? An emailing list of some kind? Am I missing something obvious here? Asking about cattle calls/open casting calls only.
