My Ambiton

Hello everyone. I am currently in the USAF. For quite some time I have wanted to get into acting. I started out in tenth grade with Murder in the Magnolias by Tim Kelly. I had the part of Pete Bogg, which I ended up loving.
Everything about my first acting experience was great, as has everyone since then. I have tried to better myself, I have gotten tons of books on acting. But I have not been able to get any direct practice which gets really irritating.
For a few months I haven’t really thought anything about acting as the stress of my job has kept me pretty preoccupied. Lately I have gotten a huge ambition to get back into it. I’m not going to lie, my ultimate dream is to get into film acting. I know that is the ultimate goal of most all actors. My desire to be in film has overwhelmed me. I know the chances of making that far are slim, but please anyone who has been close or anyone with tips, give me some advice on how to make it that far.
I still have just under 3years 9months and 14 days left on my enlistment. The way I see it, that should give me plenty of time to get some experience and save up a good amount of money to do what I need. Please anyone just give me every bit of advice (with the exception of “choose another career”)
