first commercial

on the 5th.. i was in my first commercial. it wasnt a speaking role, it was for a local lawyer. all i had to do was act as if i was throwing a pitch to a batter to strike him out. i may have spent 5 minutes there and got 50$ for it. now as for that being said.. my ultimate goal is to get into doing movies.. has anyone famous start out basically the way i am? can doing these commercials lead to something that i can be proud of and say hey look thats me on the big screen?
