Tim Burton
I'm a big fan of this guy mostly because I tend to like the darker halloween type movies he makes. Lately, he's been heading towards brighter colored films like Willy Wonka and Big Fish. What do you guys think of him?

I think he's an outright genius. To be able to see past the mockery of what Christmas has become and create a story that pretty much sums up the way most people feel about Christmas--- it's a NIGHTMARE ----- only deepens my gratitude to him further.

Yeah, Im a big fan of his also. But his newer movies arent that much different than his previous ones. The stories are obviously different, but he still incorporates his zany, colorful settings into them. His storytelling is uncanny

Has anyone seen the ads for Corpse Bride yet? It'll be in the style of the Nightmare Before Christmas. He has a tendency to use certain actors over and over again ie Johnny Depp and Michael Keaton, but that's probably because they're used to his style and work better with him.
