A Front Page?

Actor's forum is currently the number one search result on google for search terms "actor" and "forum" which is great, but we really do need some more traffic.

I think a great way to drive more traffic to this site is a front page. A front page acts as a portal to the forums and also can lead to more discussions.

Personally I'd love to see news (maybe an RSS from Variety?) and current or classic acting related youtube videos (stuff like Brian Atene's famous audition) and a top ten of the most viewed, or most popular threads on actorsforum.

Can you all think of something else you'd like to see on a front page?

Perhaps you can collect "success" stories from some of the members on here and put that up there too, so that new members will see what a large and diversified community we have as far as acting interests.

That's an excellent idea! Maybe even have a member of the week type of thing where we can put a bio and maybe some links as well, and then have an archive of members of the week so people can always go back to them.
