Cool Nervous Traits

Does anyone have problems with nerves when doing a monologue?
I have just done my first proper monologue and my teacher is good to help me pick out any problems during the performance but he pointed out that i lick my lips through it which is a form of nerves and i dont know how to stop it, i have always done this, even in normal life

I am doing a mock LAMDA exam this week and i need to be able to sort it by then, any techniques to help stop or to keep my mind off it?
