Default Method acting

Does anyone have any good links to method acting tutorials or books? I would love to learn something more about it but can't seem to find any quality resources.

Yes, this should get you started:
http://www.theatrgroup.com/methodC/

See Method Acting Procedures at the bottom, each step is very important.

From there you can check out any of the books/resources on this list:

People can get stagefreight even if they don't look at the audience...like at a piano recital. But I guess if you're 100% focused on the music and not the creeping eyes, then you should be ok.

As far as I know of it "Method" requires the student to get "into the head" of the character... to try to take on their personality and traits... eventually you make acting decisions based on them... is this accurate?
