im into acting and im currently in a musical @ school, i did really good on my song but i have a asian accent, and they didnt give me a good role because of that. is there a possible way to correct it (im 14years old)? | ||

Hmmm... I've always been able to GET accents... just never get RID of them... I don't know... but you might be able to take a class that will give you whatever accent you are looking to acquire.

there is no such thing as getting RID of an accent, only adopting a new one. what i do to learn accents is to watch films with the type of accent you with to learn. watch it over and over and over again until you learn the basics of how their lips move and their tongue rolls to form the dialects on certain words. learn by listening and observing. thats my motto. i dont take classes or workshops. i do it all myself. i do a lot of research and watching films. thats how i do it....
