Default coach / school


ok, if you havent figured it out yet im new to this site and this (i hope) life. i mean im like right out of the womb new. so, that aside, how do i get into this lifestyle? should i look at acting schools or should i look for an acting coach? any info would be great. i apologize if this is in the wrong place i just figured ny would be the place to post being that im here. lol.

I am responding to another old post. Oh well.

You should take whatever it is you can afford. An acting school is probably best place to start with a coach after graduation.

I think it is important to have a coach to take scripts to occasionally. Somoeone who can give you notes and get through monologues. Many famous actors still use acting coaches.
