Exclamation Grauman's Chinese Theater

I'm curious if anyone's ever been inside Grauman's Chinese Theater? I was in Hollywood not too long ago and stood in the audience as a major movie premier happened, but I've never physically been inside the theater. It's on Hollywood Blvd right across the street from where Jimmy Kimmel hosts his talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live (the El Capitan building); also right next door to the Kodak Theater where major events are held.

I know you can buy tickets and get in, most of the time.

Anyone been in there?

For those of you who have been there and seen the theater in person, what do you think? I think it's a major Hollywood icon and a very historic place. Just looking at the hand prints on the ground brings back all kinds of historic images of Hollywood legends & stars.

No, haven't been to Grauman's which is kind of dumb since it's so famous and I was in LA a little while ago. But I'm going back in Sept. to see my mom's play and since I read your email I'm thinking I should definitely go and see all the handprints and stuff. Like you said, it's loaded with Hollywood history. It's what Disney World tries to do, but for real.

I live in LA and saw Titanic there. The only movie I saw there. I have to admit, it was awesome. There might be other theatres with more sophisticated sound systems, but the scope and size of the theatre just brought out the excitement. Hope this helps.
