I honestly dont know, but I'm pretty sure (80%) it's just a myth. The only way you really burn muscle is not eating enough, after you've burned all of the fat you can (like anorexics) and so on.

Lifting makes little tears in your muscles, then as the tears recover, it makes your muscles bigger (they expand more)..that's basically how it works.

Hmm..I learned differently..

Interesting point though, it makes sense. I'll look this up later.

Hmmm.. Water (spring water mainly) is basically the best thing you can drink, thats healthy. I never heard of not drinking it with or after meals. Thats new.

Well I've been looking around for info, because I dont want to respond with bs..but I havent found anything. I also dont think that your stomach acid does anything too signifigant, in terms of losing weight..unless you have an extremely high concentration...in which case you're probably at risk of having an ulcer (or already have one.)

I dont know..I have shin splints so I'm not big on running. One thing I do know; if you're running to lose weight you'll probably do more harm than good because of the impact.

Generally biking is better for your body and especially your heart.

& as for the water thing..

I totally forgot..but after I workout, I take this muscle powder to build up the lactate in my muscles (it helps you recover faster from strenuous workouts), and one thing they say is it's completely uneffective if you drink water, or take it with water because it needs to bypass your stomach acid (the water triggers it)...

So..I dont know about that drinking thing...plus the difference in the PH levels wouldnt be signifigant enough to lose a considerable amount of weight when eating without water.

Sorry for any typos, or if that didnt make sense..its early lol.
