My name is Rich, I'm 25, and live in the beautiful metropolis of San Diego, CA.
I'm pretty new to the acting game but have recently landed some roles in a couple local indie films. I fell into this by accident but cannot get over much of a passion acting has become for me. I spent nearly 6 years in the military working in communications. I got out, landed a great job thinking it was going to be my career, and then soon realized I hated it. I wanted more. I knew I had talent other than fixing broken comms links and sitting in front of a computer all day. So, I responded to a few casting calls, nailed the auditions, and am now on the path to a new career.
I can't began to tell you how much acting has changed my life. You all know what I'm talking about. I am really excited to have found this forum and to be able to surround myself with individuals with the same passion, drive and determination for this art that I have.
It's hard work, extremely long hours, crappy food, and sometimes no pay at all. But, we're all new to this and have to start somewhere. If this is really the path you want your life to take you cannot give up...ever. Take any role you can, within your moral boundaries, and give 179% to it (I've discovered 179% is the optimal percentage to give to anything you do. If you'd like I'll show you the algebraic equation that proves this J/K.)

And remember every part you knock out is that much more experience and knowledge you have gained, one more step to reaching that final goal you've set for yourself.
Again I'm really excited to be here with all of you and am looking forward to meeting you all. Take care and hope to talk with you all soon.
Rich
