Where do I start? - Actors Forum is the Community to Talk, Learn and Study Acting.

Hello all. I'm new here, and interested in acting. I'm 15 years old, half asian. I grew up watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and I thought to myself that I want a successful career as Will Smith did. Also, I was inspired by some actors such as Mila Kunis and Bruce Lee. Ah, what the hell, I like Katie Holmes acting.

Problem is, I have no idea on where to start. I only had 3 years of Middle school drama class, and I don't think that helps at all. I'm mainly going for the TV/Movie industries. Most of the middle school stuff was Greek plays and Shakespear.

I currently live in Virginia, near D.C. I don't know where to find any schools for acting or anything. Can anyone help me out?

I would highly recommend that you join summer drama camps as they focus primarily on acting across a variety of different genres. You will most likely learn more from a daily acting-centric course than from a short school class.
