Hello, my name is Alex. I'm 15, and a sophmore in high school. As far back as I can remember there have always been two truths about me: 1. I've always been outcasted; 2. I've always wanted to be an actor. The reasons for my being outcasted are also my ultimate downfall, I think too much! I don't get out and live and feel I just think! It deppresses me.....I don't know what to do, its killed my emotive state, my imagination, my youth and i want it to stop. I feel it's preventing me from my true potential as an actor. An actor is all i've ever wanted to be and is all I'll ever be. I'll do anything and everything I can to hone my craft and make myself better. I don't know what to do.

are you a gemini? write whatever is on your mind on paper you never know you just might have something there. are your parents supportive of your acting choice? if so take some classes. i was at a class last night and there was a young boy there he was great and her knew another language.

wow, class was so much easier today.


I found out i'm really bad at being concious of what im doing. Like, in person i have a very calm, whatever! type demeanor. I never knew that, i usually feel stiff and whatnot.

the character i'm playing has the same type of person, which is what makes it easier for me, but im worried........since it is so easy for me and this is my first acting class, what happens when i have to be a character i'm not so likened to? I'm not exactly sure i'm learning is all....

first class give yourself a break. you didnt learn to walk in one day!

The fact that you are willing to do anything to hone your craft, says a lot. You are in the right mindset. You will do fine.

Give class time; let things sink in; and rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. Eventually things will click.
