Talking Hullo There! - Brit Accents

What would be the most intresting Brit accents to learn?

Specifically what is the accent that is commonly associated with the british upper classes and royalty?

This is my first post on this board and it seems pretty cool.

Thanks.

um well i dont know about like the different brit accents, but i taught myself two, from watching films..... (from Harry Potter and then some from Tomb Raider and also from the Pirates of the Caribbean) Personally i just watch films and learn from them....i dont know like the classes to which they are associated, but since Lara Croft is rich and near-like royalty, I'd say watch the first film and listen carefully to her voice and Manfred Powell's (Iain Glen) dont know if its what your looking for, but hey, its how i learned, i just watch films over and over until i get it. (plus it helps that im a quick learner with those things).

Anyway, hope this helped!
