Have you acted in anything yet? If not, don't be discouraged, sign up for classes somewhere, sign on to a production, even if it is just community theatre. You need to get experience in front of an audience or on a set, and some training. Look at your local junior college.
Acting, to many people, is one of those jobs that anyone can do and is easy. They are wrong. It takes hard work, practice, dedication, education, a little luck, and experience. It is not an "easy" job. And when you start really getting into it, it tends to get a bit expensive. But that will come later.
For now have fun, but take it a bit serious, because you want your audience to take you seriously as an actor.
