Awesome movie..the storyline had some really nice twists (that I definitely didnt picked up on)...overall it was really enjoyable. I thought it was just a straight horror flick, but it's more of a drama/mystery/thriller than horror. The only character I wasn't impressed by was Peter Sarsgaard (who played Luke, he's also in the new movie Red Eye)..his motives throughout the movie were extremely obvious so SPOILER IS BELOW. YOU WILL PROBABLY PICK UP ON THIS IF YOU GO TO SEE THE MOVIE, BUT THIS IS JUST A WARNING. The spoiler is in RED. when he turned on Kate Hudson toward the end I was just like..eh..figures. Verdict - Go see it. | ||

I just saw this the other day. I was expecting it to be more scary. I was hoping for charred ghost faces. It's definitely a movie that makes you think, but it's more like "The Others" than "The Grudge".
