its about a man fighting during the crusade period from the english side

im a huge Ridley Scott fan, and altho it isnt his best work... with the concept of the film and the beauty of his direction, i enjoyed it a lot. im a huge fan of the era too, so i was a bit partial.

Kingdom of Heaven

During the 12th century in the holy city of Jerusalem, a young peasant blacksmith (Orlando Bloom) takes up the mantle of knighthood so he can help repel the army of Christian crusaders that took control of the city in the year 1099. To complicate matters (of course), the young knight also falls in love with a beautiful princess (Eva Green). Co-stars Liam Neeson, Jeremy Irons, David Thewlis and Brendan Gleeson. Ridley Scott directs.

Seems like an interesing movie. I haven't had the time to see it yet, and it releases on DVD in Oct, so I guess ima have to find a way to see it.
