A friend of mine told be about a band called "Nutty" that will be playing at the Derby on Monday nights for about a month and that it's some kind of secret auditions for actors into the whole lounge swing scene. Suppose to be some kinda big film with the band in it. I was going to fly out in time to check it out just for kicks. Anyone here know anything about it and who's going to be in the film, who's directing, producing? Anything? I can't find anything more about it, not that it matters. I just really loved that movie "Swingers" and I would have loved to have been in that.

I'll be in LA, this Sunday after being gone for over 20 yrs, aside for a few visits. Anyone have any suggestions of things I shouldn't miss, as a renewed wanna be actor? Not just things acting related.
