Who do you think is the most underrated/underappreciated actress?

I quickly knew the answer to the male version of this question, but I would really rather sit back and see what others think before I form an opinion about this one just yet. Being a male, I tend to focus less on the talent of the actress, and moreso on the eyecandy-factor, so this will be a little more tough for me to decide on. Shame on me.

Rene Zellwegger. She's bluntly histarical in the Bridget Jones movies & was great in Cinderella Man..

Charlize Theron's popular, but I'm not sure its because of her acting; although it should be.

I would have to say Catherine Zeta-Jones

And the reason is because she takes a lot of flack for being Micheal Doulas's wife that seems to over ride he abilities as an actress.

She appeared in some UK productions before she moved to the US and married Douglas and was very good in all of these productions!

Jennifer Aniston without a doubt. Most of her movies have been underrated. The only one that was a bit more famous was bruce almighty, and that was probably because Jim Carrey was starring in it. Jen's movies like Object of my affection, picture perfect, etc. were all great. She was even pretty good in the leprachaun (sp?) and that was one of her earliest roles.

how can angelina jolie be underrrated? I think she gets all the attention she deserves. she's an amazing actress.

the first person that came to mind was rosario dawson. I've only actually seen her in two or three movies (chelsea walls, one of my favorites, she did amazingly in) but I think she has a wonderful presence and deserves more roles.

Natalie Joy Johnson. She is one of the best kept secrets on Broadway (and Off-Broadway). She's extremely talented and one of the most dedicated people I've seen, and yet she never seems to get credit for it.

I thought I replied to this already... I think the most underrated actress is Meagan Good. I believe she'll be a good addition to many of the dramatic type of movies.

I think it would have to be Sandra Bullock. She is very talented aside from her small attempts at comedy, i.e. Miss Congeniality 2.

I think Sandra Bullock is overrated. I don't really like her acting. i think a really underrated actress could be Sana Lathan
