what is your opinion on this? I think it is good. Actors/actresses have a different perspective from executives, producers and directors about film and I think an actor and/or actress would be more inclined to the artistic aspirations of filmmakers. I hope Tom Cruise is successful with United Artists. | ||

Yeah, I think actors are more intuned to what's taking place on the page and in the studio/on location. They have to be. I mean, yes they are working for the director's vision, but so are producers and execs, but all the jobs are different. Execs looks at talent and what is being made, but they are more there for the financial end. They care about what's happening in the story, because they're helping pay for it.
