Hello All,

I have a couple of questions for agents & casting directors. What is the biggest downside to working with a disabled actor? When a disabled actor goes to an audition, do agents & directors sub-consciously think to themselves, "This is going to be a waist of time." I'm asking because very seldom do you see disabled actors in commercials, on television, or on film. Disabled people enjoy the art of acting, & I feel we should be considered for more roles. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't acting art imitating life? Disabled people are a part of this world & we have wonderful stories we'd like to share. I'm not venting, I'm just curious to know how disabled entertainers are perceived in the commercial, television, & film industries.
