Hi, I live in Mayland, and i've been looking for many acting classes because ive never really acted before, except a small part in a 5th grade play and even though i have no experience, i cant get acting out of my mind since i was 4! i never told anyone until i was 11 (im 12 now) because i thought my parents/sister wouldnt take me seriously plus i live in an area with not many acting orriented things...so ive "auditioned" for an agency that said itll give me workshops and my sister came too but after we talked to them, they seemed too fake, saying they will take us to Paris and Europe and stuff with us having NO experience (it was Annapolis Talent Agency or Kids in the Biz,they have different names for the same place...). After that i was bac on the internet looking for more acting places in maryland, i found this site called ModelandActinBaltimore.com, kinda sounds too good to be true but i just checked it out, it had an online form, i didnt fill it out but i DID look on Google for reports of scams, and i found out it was and was also called John Casabanca Productions or something...well..i couldnt find anything after that BUT i did find this one class called Redfield Arts and it seem very proffesstional and the guy who teaches it (Mark Redfield) has been in movies ("Chainsaw Sally", "The Death of Poe") i checked IMDb and he has a page and everything, but the class for teens has been closed for a while, im thinking they stopped teaching or its just taking a long time...i dont know...but haha i was talking too much wasnt i? well i was just wondering if you guys have any ideas for acting classes in maryland or anywhere near it (im in Baltimore). thanks! |
