I have found a piece by Tennessee williams called The Night of the Iguana - i stumbled upon it by accident - Tennessee williams is an author i never wanted to do - i saw a streetcar named desire and i really didnt like it and it put me off a lot of his work but i saw a paragraph in a monologue book where the character hannah is talking about the "house for the dying" and everything clicked, everything she said, i knew about and at present my gran is at present not doing very well and her final line about her grandfather and how she can see the last hint of life in his eyes just seems so real to me. so thought i would use that experience to help me through it plus i feel a bit more confident in this piece.
i attempted a piece from a Lady from the Sea by ibsen but i felt i couldnt do it justice, so quite happy i have found this other piece
However, have began buying Neil Simon's works as a back up - the LAMDA is pretty strict with the rules so at least i have a back up - i found a piece in "I Ought to be in Pictures" by Simon which is really funny but quite emotional too
