im not sure if this is posted in the right place, i JUST joined, and if not let me know where it should have gone and ill correct it. But i am searching for a really juicy dramatic monologue for an upcoming showcase that i need to make. I would like the mood to be very much so on the edge and frazzled. a woman in deep pain maybe going a bit insane because of it. perhaps because of loss. it must be comtemporary. if anyone has any suggestions from movies, plays, unpublished etc. please let me know! thanks! | ||

Well, sorry then i cant help. I would write my own since i am a writer. But if you want an existing piece, then check back into some films you've watched on DVD format. When you hear the monologue you like, turn on the subtitles and jot it down. [believe me writing down from the subs. is much easier than trying to catch every word they say] though through this method you'll have to pause and possibly rewind throughout, to make sure you didnt/dont miss anything. Sorry i cant be more helpful.... SWK78 (i'll look on my DVD shelf and see if i cant maybe fnd a good mono. - A woman in pain, right?)
