I would recommend the following: Stella Adler The Art of Acting Edward Dwight Easty On Method Acting Judy Kerr Acting is Everything Those should get you started and give you some theory/knowledge behind acting. It's important to not get too deep into theory without practicing (being involved in a class etc.) | ||

I've never acted...but I used to know absolutely nothing about working on cars and then I read Automotive Repair for dummies and by the end of the night, I was changing spark plugs, changing oil, and troubleshooting problems. So, whenever I want to learn something new, I go to the dummies books. Breaking Into Acting for Dummies is the title, I believe...
