Default skin care

acne

I suggest seeing a dermatologist instead of spending money on systems like pro-active or murad. The cost of seeing a derm is still cheaper than buying a system if you have health insurance. I should know because pro-active didn't work for me and murad made my face red for days.

minor flare ups, spots

Get Queen Helena's mint julep masque. It has sulfur which helps to dry the spot and reduce the redness. You can find the product at wal-mart for under $5. If you have break outs on your chest or back, neutrogena has a bodywash with salcylic acid which will help clear the skin.

wrinkles

If you're careful about your skin and wear sunscreen, then it's not a problem. I can't really reccommend one because I don't use them, but I've heard good things about neutrogena anti-wrinkle cream. I think it's $9 though.

other

You've heard the sayings about drinking 8 glasses of water a day. I don't ever drink that much. Try for 3 and work your way up. The most I've done was 6 and then I went back to drinking a dr. pepper. Just remember that your skin requires maintainence. You have to wash it and take proper care of it. Just because it's clear today does not mean you won't break out tomorrow.
