God, was I a fool back in 1977 at age 19 driving out to LA from the deep south with $220 and dreams of being a star. Stupidity and drugs got in my way. I forgot that I loved the "art" of it and was too busy trying to "make it" instead of enjoying it.
Now after all these years, why not go back and have fun with it. Take it serious and enjoy the art of it. With my ego finally in check, I don't have to be a star. It isn't about "me" anyway. It's what I help the writer and director create that is all that matters.

I'm coming back to LA, to work my rusty acting bones. Just found this site and thought I'd say hello.
A friend of mine told be about a band called "Nutty" that will be playing at the Derby on Monday nights for about a month and that it's some kind of secret auditions for actors into the whole lounge swing scene. Suppose to be some kinda big film with the band in it. I was going to fly out in time to check it out just for kicks. Anyone here know anything about it and who's going to be in the film, who's directing, producing? Anything? I can't find anything more about it, not that it matters. I just really loved that movie "Swingers" and I would have loved to have been in that.
Anyway, HELLO!
