there is no such thing as getting RID of an accent, only adopting a new one. what i do to learn accents is to watch films with the type of accent you with to learn. watch it over and over and over again until you learn the basics of how their lips move and their tongue rolls to form the dialects on certain words. learn by listening and observing. thats my motto. i dont take classes or workshops. i do it all myself. i do a lot of research and watching films. thats how i do it....
