Hi,

I'm Larry. After watching some movies over the Christmas break, I had an epiphany. Since I was young I had always wanted to become an actor, and as I aged the "dream" of becoming one kind of slipped away, as it seemed more and more unrealistic as years went by. But now I'm wondering if maybe there's really a chance, and if there is, it's definitely worth a try. I'm seventeen years old, and was originally planning to go into Computer Science, but as of right now, I'm really confused about what I -really- want to do with my life right now and in the future.

Being of an Asian ethnicity, I have noticed that in today's society there are a scarce amount of big-time Asian actors out there, save for Martial Arts films.. I think this might be because of the cautious route that Asian parents always enforce on their children, making it difficult to take such a potentially financially-risky occupation such as acting. I would like to be a little daring .

I really have no acting experience, though I believe I would be able to act and that I would love it. And I don't mean to sound like a leech, but hopefully this forum can help me understand some of the important things to know about acting. Nice to meet you all.
