Well there is Uma Thurman, Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane and Will Ferrell, in 'The Producers' (not out yet). Also Nicole Kidman in 'Moulin Rouge', Rene Zellweger in 'Chicago'. There are quite a few actors who get to showcase they're singing talent. I think it's good to work on your singing abilities, you can offer more as an entertainer. Unless you were referring to people who have their own cd's out. Then I would say Lindsay Lohan(album-speak), Hilary Duff(album-metamorphasis), Beyonce(movie-dream girls). Yes, it's possible. I think you're more marketable when you can do both.
