 new, planning to move to LA, advice? | |
hi im new to the boards, im 17 right now and i want to move out to LA after i graduate high school, i don't know anybody in my senior class that is going out to LA, to pursue acting (I go to an arts school) so i'm kinda worried about going out there by myself and setting up, was wondering if anyone can offer some advice about the cost of living, getting an agent, auditions in LA (how often?) , good cheap places to stay, where i can network with local actors, etc. anything that can prove useful, right now i'm trying to convince some friends to come out with me, cause its always better to have people you know in a new city, just kinda worried im just going to throw myself ot somewhere and have no one, so thanks for the time
