Living the dream

im having the same problem of self doubt.i dont believe in myself enough to take such a huge leap.i need a back up plan.i know it doesnt say much of who i am but hey thats just me... its who i am!what im afraid of is that acting wont work out and then i will have waisted my life persueing something which was out of reach.im still in high school here in ireland and still dont know what to do.will i go to college or head straight to LA.??i wud love to study acting studies in trinity college but im consumed by self doubt!! the old problem of needing a back up plan is back again!! so what im considering doing is getting a degree in english literature and philosophy so as to have something to fall back on.whilst getting my degree i wil join the acting society there and hopefully do a summer course at RADA.then i will move to america,without any worries because i will always have my degree to fall back on. i know a lot of you reading this will probably think that my heart isnt in acting but thats not true!! i have never had the confidence to do anything without the guarantee that it will work.so has any1 any advice!!
