actually, I thought that was terrible advice.
how can you improve yourself by mimicking someone on tv? how can you create your own style that way? surely, you can read books on acting, and read scripts, but school allows you many more oppurtunities to work on your craft.
trust me, there's a difference between rehearsing in front of friends and family, and being on stage with a real audience. |
