Usually an Actor will study all forms or methods of acting. They will then decide to focus on one specific "method", or decide to form their own based on what works for them out of the various techniques that they have studied.
Popular acting techniques include variations of stanislavski, method acting, meisner, strasberg, and other more practical approaches like the practical asthetic. There are also all sorts of variations and other smaller techniques that are studied.... |
