Re: A little about you... | | Thought I might as well answer my own questions... Question One: When did you realise you wanted to be an actor/actress? - When I was in Middle School, it was 7th grade, I recently had just broken my back and so my entire life at that time (sports) were taken away from me. I was your typical jock in every sense of the word including what I felt was my god given right to make fun of all the "gay" acting/singing/dancing guys. Well one day while I was standing out of the theater, the director saw me poking fun of a friend who was in the play. She told me I was either going to be a extra in the play, or I was going to be suspended. I joined the play, kinda liked it, and caught the attention of a girl who was an actress...yadda yadda yadda...we started to "go out" (I miss old Middle School terms I don't use anymore) and she pressured me into auditioning for the next play. I did, got a lead, loved it, and never really looked back. Question Two: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? - Working in London or possibly New York. My primary goal as an actor is in movies/television, however I want to spend the next decade or so exploring stage work, and since my mom lives in New York, and my dad lives in London, it's nice easy access to two of the world's greatest areas for stage performence. Question Three: Who would you say has influenced you the most in this feild? - My Freshmen year Technical Theatre director (in 4 years of high school I had 3 tech directors, 5 acting directors, 2 music directors, and 3 dance directors...). By far though the most impactful one was Freshman year, he taught me more about not only the theater itself, but Theatre as an art form and I will never be able to thank him enough. |
